If you sign up as a panel member of the Baltimore County Lawyer Referral Service, you will receive referrals based on case type and geographical location. We advertise this program on our website, throughout the community and through other service agencies.

Current Year (July-June) Panel Registration Packet

Our referral year runs from July 1 - June 30. You can sign up at any point online or through a physical copy during the year and will need to reapply for every year that you would like to remain on Lawyer Referral.

You can find our online and paper application CLICK HERE: LRIS Application 2026-2027. After reading over the LRIS Rules and completing the application in its entirety, please download the application. Once the application is downloaded, please email the application and a Declaration Sheet from your legal malpractice carrier to chabel@bcba.org. Following your application submission, you will receive an invoice via email. After the invoice is paid to the BCBA, you will be active and able to receive referrals. If you would like to turn in a physical application, please see below.

If you are completing a PHYSICAL COPY for Lawyer Referral Please send the following to Carley Habel at 100 County Courts Building, 401 Bosley Avenue, Towson, MD 21204:

1. A check payable to the Baltimore County Bar Association for Registration and Panel Fees
2. Completed Registration Forms (pages 1 through 3 on LRIS application)
3. Signed Certification and Statement of Panel Member (page 4 on LRIS application)
4. Malpractice Insurance Certification and Indemnification Agreement (page 5 on LRIS application)
5. A copy of the Declaration Sheet from your legal malpractice carrier
